Opinions on wearing super hero merch

So about a month ago i purchased a replica green lantern power ring, the one Nathan Fillion/ Guy Gardner wears in the Super Man movie. I thought it was possibly the best purchase I made, I've kept up with animated stuff and loved the Green Lanter animated series, so I said why not. I wore it proudly and got a few compliments on it, one the office employees at my work saw it and said he started watching Lanterns and we would talk about it. My boss heard us and at first he called us nerds and I figured he was joking around, then a few days go by he over hears me and the other employee talking about the show and he interrupted us saying "No way, you know what why dont we all get green lantern rings". It didnt bother me and I went about my day, then it got the point he started calling me Green Lantern, and asked really dump questions, like if I got to work early he would say if I flew here, and if the rings power keeps it clean. I work security so he would say dont worry everyone Green Lantern is here to save the day, people would ask me if I was ok. I wasn't ok and it did bother me, and 2 days ago in front of people he asked me to say the oath and told everyone to quiet down, I just laugh and said I needed to focus on the cameras. I did over here him say what kind of 30 old wears a toy. The ring is sterling silver with green resin so not really a toy but it got to me and I put the ring away and he hasn't made fun of me since. I wanted to get an opinion, I feel like im being a baby about it, and no I didn't ask him to stop I dont wanna lose my job the pay is good and I cant afford to lose it.
