Looking for guidance and any tips

I submitted applications for my mother and myself July 2024, her mom (my maternal Oma) was born and raised in Germany and we provided a whole list of documents, provided family details on current relatives, as well as have application numbers that were provided when I reached out to Staatsangehörigkeit. I have not gotten a response since they acknowledged receipt, but would really like to figure out how to check the status or possibly if there is anything that can help. My Oma is 91 now and we would both really like to share with her our German citizenship.
