Blocking the card to stop lenovo from getting my money

Recently i bought a laptop using my cc on Lenovos official website. The order was for a laptop. After buying it i realized that harvey norman was selling the same laptop for cheaper so i tried cancelling the order but customer support said i cant cancel it because the order was a ''custom" order. But as lenovo havent shipped the laptop after 9 days, the pre-authorization dropped and my cc limit was restored. Would blocking my card stop lenovo from charging my card again so the order would be cancelled by reason of payment failure?
