What to add to the registry

My fiancé (26M) and I (27F) are first time parents and our little guy is due mid December. I’ve worked with babies and my friends have babies and between the two of us we have 7 nephews and 2 nieces so babies aren’t new to me, but having my own certainly is.

I’ve made a baby registry and I added EVERYTHING to it. The big, the small, the wants, the needs. I’ve been buying things from it every few weeks and a few family members asked for the link and have bought some things too, and we are super grateful for that. I made a private facebook event for my baby shower to invite everyone. Several people asked if I had a registry so I added the link to the event page. Anything we are gifted is a wonderful treat that we are beyond grateful for, and we will buy everything else ourselves after our baby shower.

I know it seems like a lot. I was uncomfortable adding more expensive things but everyone told me to just put everything on there, so that’s what I did. People can buy whatever they feel like, no matter how small it is, we don’t expect a cousin we see twice a year, or anyone for that matter, to buy us something extravagant. But keeping it all in one spot makes it easier to keep track of what we still need/want and what we already have.

My question is what should I add that I haven’t already added? My friends have told me about a few things they have that have absolutely made different parts of parenting much easier, so I added those to it. I’m sure there are other things out there that are life savers that I haven’t thought of. As a first time mom, I’m open to as many suggestions regarding what to add to the list as you have to offer :)
