Politicians asking for money.

I just caught myself in a bit of a catch 22. Ill start ranting at the end but there is some set up.

I want hames talarico to win in Texas. Im not a fucking terrible person so of course I do. I dont know anyrhing really about him or his platform. I just know that he is a better person than ken Paxton.

But this mother f$*< being every ad before my YouTube videos has pissed me off...at first but then I had an idea. I see the ad, I skip the ad and say to myself, "James i want you to win bud but, ask your wealthy donors to give you the money youre supposedly about to start hemorrhaging. im not dirt poor but, I ain't got it enough to contribute 5$ to a politician 1,000 miles away from my district.

I realize: thats the fucking catch 22. I feel like im not the only person that feels this way but also guess what? This mentality is then depending on/assuming that a more wealthy person will take care of this for me. This is fucked. BUT I am also not donating money to a politician 1,000 miles away...without receipts. If that ad could easily point me to a link where I could find his biggest donors and see that only maybe 10 people have contributed over 1,000$ (and who they are) i would almost be compelled to donate to a cause I care about. Then and only then. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
