How is quant even humanly possible??
Please be nice because after my 3rd mock yesterday, I’m already feeling down.
So I’m here reviewing the quant questions I got wrong on this mock exam and I am re-attempting the question before the looking the explanation. But by the time I’m setting up some equations, I’m already at 3 minutes. I have an ADHD accommodation because I am terrible at standardized exams (and I mean really bad) due to pressure and not understanding what I’m reading as I’m reading it. But even if I have twice the amount of time, I still don’t understand how Quant is humanly possible. I feel like the test takers want to trick you through this entire section, and I don’t understand how even a person without adhd could possibly solve these questions in 2 minutes. What I’m trying to say is that these questions are just HARD.
Crazy thing is, I’m pretty good at math but the combination of difficulty, a broad range of topics and question types, and time limit, I don’t know how people score well, or how I score well.
Does anyone have any recommendations for becoming a master at the quant section? I’ll take any and all advice.
