Wanting to pick good ancestry to offset the Cryo Null's so-so starting abilities.

Most of this subclass's early features and abilities don't compare to the better ones you get in later levels. One example is"Entropic Field", which is easily replaced by "A Squad Unto Myself".

I'm wondering if there's any particular Ancestry to choose that offers to balance out or make up for the subclass when starting out.
