AAAstreamz 1.14 is out: free IPTV player for Fire TV / Google TV, now with Multi-View, new Looks and auto-reconnect.

A few weeks ago I shared **AAAstreamz**, a free IPTV player I built for TV boxes around the remote. Thanks to everyone who tried it and sent feedback. A lot has been added since then, and version **1.14** just came out.

**Quick reminder: it's a player only.** It doesn't come with any channels. You sign in with your own provider's **Xtream Codes** login or an **M3U** link.

**What's new since 1.8**

**Multi-View:** watch 2, 3 or 4 live channels at once

**Auto-reconnect:** if your provider drops the stream mid-show, it reconnects by itself instead of freezing

**Looks:** Settings > Interface > Look. Pick Classic or one of five styles (Orbit, Chrome, Cinema, Sports, Glass). Each one changes the fonts, background and colors

**New layouts and colors:** a side layout (channel list on the left) and more accent colors, including orange

**Multiple playlists:** add, rename and switch between providers from the top bar. Each playlist keeps its own favorites

**Backup & restore with your phone:** scan a QR code to save your playlists, favorites and settings on your phone, then restore them onto a new TV. You can even restore right from the login screen

**Stream format per playlist:** Auto (HLS) or TS. If channels start slowly on one provider, try TS just for that one

- **Remove from Recent:** hold OK on a channel in Recent

- **Request a feature:** right in the app, under Settings > About

- Lots of fixes, especially to remote navigation

**Still there from before:** full TV guide, Movies & Series with resume, audio and subtitle picker, voice "play CNN", your phone as a remote and keyboard, recording, a channel editor made for the remote, and a speed test that tells you whether it's your internet or your provider.

**No ads. No account with me.** Your login stays on your device and only goes to your provider.

**Install (right on the TV)**

1. Install **Downloader** (by AFTVnews) from your TV's app store

2. Allow Downloader to install apps (Fire TV: Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options > Install unknown apps. Google TV: Settings > Apps > Security & restrictions > Unknown sources)

3. In Downloader, enter code **4827015**

4. Install and open

Already have it? It updates itself from inside the app.

Heads up: it's not on the Play Store, so **Play Protect may show a warning** when you install. Choose "More details" > "Install anyway".
