2nd eye seems off

I had my first eye done for near and intermediate vision. I had my second eye done today and it seems like it's set for far vision, not near intermediate because I can see more clearly farther away than my first eye and I can't see closer intermediate. Can I expect the focusing to adjust from far to near intermediate after giving it some time?
