Complainers on this forum have total memory suck about what the first Draft iteration was like
In the last Draft edition, the constant, CONSTANT complaint was losing to vastly overtuned decks that at the end of six turns stacked up enough Sticks, or enough Destroy cards, that they could create an insurmountable wall.
The Sanctum scoring module goes a long way to solving that. You can now win by being fast, OR you can win by being powerful. You have two methods of winning. People complain about having to play more tempo-oriented game? Oh you complain about actually PLAYING the game, instead of rerolling decks until you get 2 venoms and a deadpool in your starter? My first game in this draft, I nearly lost to a zoo deck running squirrel girl, because I wasn't playing on board, but just stacking up future bonuses in my head.
I don't know if these players just fondly remember the times that they were granted the divine touch of a 100% win rate boost deck, but they sure are forgetting the times they were crushed by a 48 power brood who gave 48 power to the next card.
