Max Particles not being collected properly during Max Battles — anyone else experiencing this?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been having a weird issue with Max Particles in Pokémon GO. When the Max Particle bubble appears in a Max Battle, I go over to it and move away from it to collect it.

Sometimes it works normally and the Max Particles get added, but other times the bubble disappears without the particles actually being added to my total.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Or is there some specific way I’m supposed to interact with the Max Particle bubble that I’m missing?

Just wanted to check if this is a known bug or if I’m doing something wrong.
