Looking for a software development internship/junior opportunity in Bangalore. Paid or unpaid, I’m open to both. I mainly want to learn, work on real projects and get some actual industry experience.
I’m a 2026 CSE graduate and I’ve been in Bangalore for almost a month now for a 3-month training program. Unfortunately, the training hasn’t been very useful. There’s barely any proper teaching happening, and I feel like I’m wasting my time here.
Right now, I know React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Tailwind and some Java. I have basically no backend knowledge and I don’t have a proper full-fledged project/portfolio yet. I’ve built parts of projects, but I don’t feel confident enough to say I can independently build a complete application.
Honestly, I feel pretty lost at the moment. I came to Bangalore hoping to learn and get some practical experience, but instead I’ve been struggling with motivation and figuring out what I should actually focus on.
I do have an offer for a software developer trainee position at a large IT services company, but the joining date is still uncertain and the compensation isn’t great. I don’t want to just sit around waiting for the joining date, especially when I have this time in Bangalore. I’d rather use it to actually learn, work with people and gain some real-world experience.
The whole AI boom has also made this worse. Seeing how quickly AI is changing software development makes me constantly question whether I’m even learning the right things or whether I’m already behind.
So I’m trying to stop overthinking and actually do something about it.
If you’re a developer, founder, recruiter, or know someone in Bangalore who is looking for a frontend/React intern or junior developer, please let me know.
I’m genuinely willing to start small, learn whatever is needed and put in the work. Even an unpaid opportunity is okay with me if I’m actually getting to work on real things and learn from people.
And if you’ve been in a similar situation, I’d also really appreciate some advice on what you would do in my position.
