How much does my (19f) Asian culture play a role in the context of my Faith and marriage?

So I’m (19f) Asian, born and raised in the US but my family still holds traditional Asian values. My boyfriend (20m) isn’t Asian but we’re both Christian who met in church and grown in our faith together as our relationship has grown. My family has expressed some concern that he isn’t Asian and they are worried about the cultural issues that may arise if we ever got married. However I’d feel like isn’t the fact that we’re both of the same faith more important? How do you figure out which is more important than the other?
