AI training data video collection crowdsourced India, how big is this getting?

I've been reading about AI training data video collection crowdsourced India and it made me realize how much work sits underneath robotics models before anyone even gets to the model training part

For physical tasks, companies need recordings of people doing normal activities in real places, so one approach is having contributors film first person video at home or work and then reviewing those submissions before they're used

The messy part is quality, contributors have different phones, rooms, lighting and recording habits, so somebody still needs rules around framing, audio and whether the task was completed correctly so I'm interested in where this goes as more robotics projects need real world footage, especially if contributor programs keep spreading across more cities and countries
