Graduating with an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, I’m planning to return for a Bachelor’s degree and am currently trying to decide on the best path forward

At first I was in school for Nursing, with plan to transfer to get Bachelors. Switched to ECED seeing as so many of my credits overlapped. I love ECED because it contributes to my home life and homeschool pod. But I don’t want to be stuck with a degree I don’t really intend to use beyond my own personal benefit. Is it possible to expand into other fields with this as my baseline? I plan to talk to advisor but, found this subreddit and saw a bunch of other ECED posts in here, i thought id ask!

Have I screwed myself? Sometimes wish I would’ve just finished my nursing I was so close to the finish line! But I got married and had a child instead 😅 now that I’m revisiting this, I’m proud to come out of school with any degree but also, if there’s a way forward I’d like to explore it reasonably!
