Can you realistically make $4,000 a month with DoorDash? And can we trust it long-term?

I’m thinking about doing DoorDash seriously and trying to make around $4,000 per month. For people who dash full-time, is that actually realistic after gas, maintenance, taxes, and other expenses?
I’m also wondering how reliable DoorDash is as a source of income. Can you actually depend on it, or can your account suddenly get deactivated or your earnings drop?
And what about verification? Do you think DoorDash is going to start doing more frequent or stricter identity/selfie verifications in the future?
Would love to hear from people who are currently making $3k–$4k+ a month. How many hours are you working, and what has your experience been like?
