Bf upset over missed call..

I would always be reachable with my phone in our relationship prior. Most recently on my days off I would put my phone on silent to sleep in but my bf would call multiple times when he leaves for work as we usually would talk on our comute to work. He would call on my days off as I would say he can call me anytime and we would talk early. Most recently, I been putting it on silent as I do not want to be waking up early especially after busy work etc but he would call multiple times. A time after I worked my shift and returned home I fell asleep and he called and did not get me for a few hours and he assumed it's related to another man. Today I fell asleep after work and did not answer his calls and when I called back he was upset as he said he feels everything is changing and he used to get me before anytime and now he should just message as he does not get onto me when he even calls.

I got annoyed. Am I wrong?
