Brother named his son after him

Heya, who else would find this very strange? Ok so last night I found out that my brother has a baby and the thing that got me is what he named the kid. My brother is David middlename Friesen, and can you guess what he named the kid? firstname David Friesen. I dunno but it seems like such an egotistical sort of thing to do to name the poor kid after yourself like this, y'know?
