I can't play my games or use my bf's shared PS Plus because I moved countries. Anything I can do?

Question

Hey guys. I have moved from South Africa to Italy, been living in Italy with my Italian boyfriend for a year now. He has his Italian PlayStation account, and I just logged into my South African one on the same device.

Unfortunately, now I cannot play any of the games I bought on the PlayStation Store, as it requires me to buy them again. That on its own really sucks, but then we tried to do that shared PS Plus thing, but because of the region difference (I'm assuming?) it won't let me.

Is there any way around this? Why can't I just change my account region? Do I really have to create a new account and abandon the one I've had my entire life?

I tried doing some research, came up with a post from this subreddit about someone wanting to buy new games on their old, different region profile, and the comments were just answering that specific part. That part will be solved for me eventually, this PS Plus part is just quite upsetting.
