No more stuck on "Reconnecting...": AAAstreamz now switches to a backup feed automatically, plus team alerts and more

  • Follow my teams (Settings, top): add your teams and get a pop-up when their game is about to start, with OK to watch. Games are found in the TV guide and in event channel names. You can also watch every game on now in Multi-View, or record your games automatically.
  • Backup feeds: when a channel stops working, the app switches to another copy of it from your list (like ESPN HD to ESPN SD) instead of sitting on "Reconnecting...". Turn it off in Settings › Playback.
  • Your phone as the TV guide: scan the QR in Ask and tap "TV guide" to browse and search channels on your phone, then tap one to play it on the TV.
  • Find the best settings for this TV (Settings › Playback): plays the last channel you watched for about 2 minutes, tries the decoders and stream formats, and suggests what works best. Nothing changes until you apply it.
  • Buffer size is now saved per playlist, like the stream format, so a shaky provider can buffer more while a steady one stays fast.
  • Easier hiding: "Edit categories & channels" has a new Manage categories screen with country groups, search and Hide all. Press Right to hide or unhide.
  • In Edit, OK now picks a channel up to move it (OK again drops it). Hold OK for the menu.
  • Hidden channels and categories are now saved per playlist.
  • Fixed: very large TV guides (some providers send over 150 MB) never loaded. They now load, and use much less memory.
  • Fixed: the app held on to a copy of everything it saved, which used a lot of memory on big playlists.
