Asbestos cleanup question what do I do with my clothes?
bought a house in Washington that was built in the 60s, so there’s a pretty good chance there’s asbestos in the drywall mud/joint compound.
I had a guy demo the drywall, and now there are piles of debris that need to be bagged up. I’m wearing a respirator and basically just putting the debris into bags. I’ve also been breaking some of the larger pieces so they’ll fit into the bags.
My question is about the clothes I’m wearing while doing this. What should I do with them afterward? Is it okay to wash them in a regular washing machine, or should I just throw them away?
