I accidentally burnt my sister's hijab with an iron... she is going to KILL me 😭 SOS

I'm so done with myself rn 😭😭

I'm always so careful while ironing clothes and everything, but today I was ironing and I got a notification on my phone and I was like "ek sec dekh lu" and aghhh ye phone bhi na!! 📱🤦‍♀️

Meri ghalti hai I know, I forgot to put the iron on low temperature and I left it on top of my sister's hijab/scarf. And now there's a HUGE hole burnt in the middle. Like it's completely destroyed.

And the worst part is... she already gets SO annoyed when I use her things without permission, and her biggest worry is always "tum meri cheezein kharab kar deti ho". And I literally did exactly that. Her stuff = her jaan. 😩

She'll kill me if she finds out. I'm freaking out.

So what should I do now?? Need honest advice:

Should I just quickly go to the market on my way back and buy the exact same color / same stuff hijab and replace it without telling her? Like will she even notice? Or should I just tell her honestly and offer to buy a new one?

I have some pocket money saved so I can buy it, but I'm scared she will notice the difference in fabric.

No roasting please, I already know I'm dumb and I feel so guilty 🥺💔 Just need some nice suggestions. What would you do if you were in my place?
