Social skills group for an almost 4 yo?

Advice Needed

Hi everyone, so my daughter is turning 4 in December this year and is suspected to be on the spectrum. Hers is probably a v mild presentation and she struggles most with peer interactions, specifically the lack of interest in peers. She tells me often that she prefers playing alone and likes talking to grown-ups only. She is also quite mature for her age. According to her nursery teacher, she does speak to others in school but not as much as other kiddos. She also needs facilitation to join in play with classmates. Given that she has told me explicitly that she prefers playing alone and adult interaction, should I enrol her in a social skills group where she will be “forced” to socialise with peers on a weekly basis? I’ve observed her during play and 90% of the time she does want to join other kids but on certain rare occasions, she walks away from other kids when they try to approach her. While she plays with other kids, I have to say that I do not see her engaging in cooperative play much. She never really gets the opportunity because other kids also don’t seem to be playing cooperatively. Back to my question, is it a good idea to enrol her in a social skills group when she has made it clear that she doesn’t fancy peer interaction?
