bluray/4k audio lagging on tv

recently i’ve been getting into collecting blurays and 4k discs. the problem first started when i brought the bluray player out into the living room to watch a movie on the big tv. we have a hisense tv. the audio was slightly lagging behind the visual and it was very irritating.

i brought the bluray player back to my room (i have a tcl tv) where it worked fine. i thought it could have been a problem with the player but i wasnt too sure.

the day before yesterday i bought a 4k player for the hisense tv. however, the audio is still lagging with this new player.

i am wondering what could be wrong with the tv and how do i fix it?

i have already tried to adjust the lip sync, but none of the adjustments fit the visual perfectly.

i do not use any additional speakers or sound system, only the tv speakers.
