Anyone ground hunt with a compound?

I know this has been talked about before but I wanted to bring it up into current discussion with most state openers this week.

I’m looking to hear some success stories of people ground hunting with their compound. I have a couple of thickets I was thinking of popping my camo stool in, just on the edge of some large clearings in a public hunting ground. My bows are on Go Stix so I could easily set them next to me and quietly prepare for a shot. Sometimes I feel like I could genuinely slip in quieter than clanking around my climber with my headlamp on.

Also kicked around the idea of one of those run n gun turkey blinds to pop up in front, but I feel like being tucked back in the thicket with good camo could do the trick. Open to any discussion
