AI Generated Artwork at Poster Fair

Discussion

Hey Everyone!

The Poster Fair happening right now is with a company called "Imaginus", which has multiple times faced backlash regarding their use of AI generated art for their posters. In fact, upon close inspection, most of the posters at the fair are very clearly AI generated, for example "Neo Japan: Wave Battle":

Noticable details like incorrect and blurry anatomy, confusing particle effects, and now the boats near the back seem to melt into the waves, and the sail is completely wrong means that this is most definetely AI generated art work.

There are some (very few) verifiably real artworks such as "Autumn Light Underwings- Episodic Drawings by Lea Yunk"

I'm not sure if this is intentional by the side of Laurier's Student Society, but I was curious if there was any way I could get a refund for my purchase? I'm unfortunately not that big into supporting AI generated art work. In fact if you DO support AI generated work, and I am unable to refund these, contact me! I'll give em to you. Probably. Does this count as advertising if its free? I hope not.
