interview question

just had my first interview today with hiring manager and a senior manager for seasonal and just wanted to ask if i should have mentioned that i know like people who work at costco? in order to like push me up in the line or whatever. i mentioned i have a sibling working at another location but i also have like a friend whos works costco as well and theyve been helping me a lot. another ex. ive been speaking with the front end manager at a location closer to me and yea. so its like i know a guy who knows a guy type of thing. would that be helpful at all if i decide to go in another time and just like quckly mention it to them or just a waste of time.

also any other advice or tips is helpful!
