Comparing odds can be more useful than people think
One habit I think is easy to overlook is simply comparing the available odds before placing a bet.
People can spend a lot of time researching a match, looking at form, injuries and previous meetings, then open one betting platform and take whatever price is there without checking elsewhere.
The difference might seem small on one bet, but over time it can become more noticeable. More importantly, taking a minute to compare prices can stop you from making a rushed decision.
And higher odds don't necessarily mean a better bet. The outcome can still go the other way regardless of how much research you've done.
I think the healthier approach is to understand why you're taking a particular bet, decide what you're comfortable risking beforehand, and accept that losing is always possible.
