Finally ordered my first budget setup

Purchasing USA

Hey there,

I've been tinkering with the idea of getting getting into serious home audio gear for a long while, and an this particular point in time I've decided to focus on a setup for my PC / office as I have gotten back into PC gaming and have always appreciated excellent audio for all of my music (but I've only gone crazy with car audio before, and stuck to soundbars and headphones at home)... with that said, I've never actually invested in any audiophile focused gear at home, as much as I've wanted to start and for soooo long... I always became so overwhelmed by the possibilities when digging into stuff. I decided to start rather simple to get my feet wet, and would like to make sure I have everything of importance checked off properly to be blown away.

I have a pair of Kali LP-6 V2's on the way to put on my desk with isolation pads to separate them from the harsh surface, and have measured where they will be located besides my monitor and bias lighting bars to where my head rests as they sit and found it would be a perfect triangle with the tweeters perfectly level and aimed towards with my ears when flat. There's also a Scarlet Solo Gen4 Interface coming to route via USB A from my PC to USB C on the interface, and I have 2 6' Mogami Gold Studio 1/4" to Male XLR cables to get to the speakers from the interface.

The left speaker will be rather close to a corner of the room, and both will be near the wall in front of me and there is no way for me to reorganize my office to change this (thus the front-firing ports I considered a necessity).

Is there anything I've overlooked to ensure this little system can be hooked up properly and is dialed in nicely once the gear arrives? I considered the matching subwoofer but worry that may be overkill, and was going to leave that decision as well as acoustic panels on my walls to be something I consider after the initial setup.
