I asked my friend to stop making jokes about my relationship, and now she says I’m too sensitive

I’ve been close friends with Emma for about six years. We’ve always joked around with each other, and normally I don’t take things personally I started dating my boyfriend about a year ago, and Emma has never really liked him. She says he’s too quiet and that I’ve changed since we started dating At first, her comments were mostly harmless, but lately she’s been making jokes about him whenever we’re with our other friends. She’ll say things like, Are you sure he actually likes you? or joke that I need to check in with my prison guard whenever I leave early to see him I laughed along at first because I didn’t want to make things awkward, but eventually it started bothering me Last weekend, she made another joke about him in front of everyone. I told her privately afterward that I didn’t think it was funny anymore and asked her to stop making comments about my relationship She got annoyed and said I was being overly sensitive and that she was obviously joking. She also said that if I can’t handle jokes from my best friend, maybe I shouldn’t be in a relationship I told her I wasn’t asking her to like my boyfriend or never joke around with me. I just wanted her to stop making him the punchline every time we’re together Now she’s barely talking to me, and two of our mutual friends think I made a bigger deal out of it than necessary I’m wondering whether I crossed a line by asking her to stop, or whether there’s a point where just joking stops being an excuse.
