Love Me - a capella demo
Hello! This is my first time posting in this subreddit. So for context, I’m writing an album called Permanent Smile which is basically all about expressing things that maybe I was a little too afraid or unable to express and also a general concept album about masking—wearing a Permanent Smile to cover how one truly feels inside.
Love Me is the opener of the album. It sounds like I’m talking to someone else but it’s actually addressed to me. It’s basically me pleading to myself to let this album happen! Let the people know, don’t cover up or hide! But it’s written in a way that I hope listeners can apply to a wide variety of their own experiences. I definitely will be changing the bridge and adding harmonies, but with my limited production equipment, a simple a capella with reverb will do!
