*After a period of unresponsiveness, Oracle was back online, and that was a major relief for Steph. Even more of a relief however, was having Babs back, Steph’s life had been going off the rails lately, and having someone as level-headed as her around was refreshing. They had a lot that they needed to talk about, and Steph hoped that Babs would have some good advice. As soon as she received the message that informed her that the clocktower was back open for business, she started across the rooftops, enjoying the wind in her hair once more after her brief stint in the hospital.*

*Her jaw was still not healed yet, but that felt like the least of her concerns at the moment. She and Cass were finally starting to talk again and possibly even working together soon, Oracle was back in the Clocktower and available to help, her father was… not a concern.*

*“Oh, but I’ll always be here Stephie. Don’t you worry your pretty head, even though you keep choosing the Bats over and over again, I still love you.”*

*She did her best to push that voice down and ignore what she had done, and instead to keep her goal in sight. Just make it to the Clocktower and Babs will be able to help. It’s going to be okay. It’s going to be okay. It’s going to be okay. Over and over again, like a mantra, like if she said it enough, then she might actually believe it.*

Id’s gonna be ogay. Id’s gonna be ogay. Id’s gonna be ogay.

*The pain in her jaw throbbed with every step and every word, but Gotham needed a Batgirl, so she pushed through. She grappled to the top of the Clocktower and dropped in through the top, right behind Babs’s computer setup, which was enough to make any computer nerd weep tears of joy. She looked around for a second before seeing the red hair that she knew so well, and approached as quietly as possible. She knew that she wouldn’t get the jump on her, but it was always fun to try.*
