How long to be able to farm her echoes?

How long do you have to play the story (current patch I am caught up) to be able to farm her echoes and upgrade materials? I have been really busy lately and don't know if I have time to do multiple hours of story right now for it. I really want to get her maxed out though. I really wish they simply let us teleport to the region right away if you have Hsin or something. :(
