So angry about what is happening and Cornell

I’m so freaking sick of “men have to be better”. You hear a buddy making some demeaning jokes about women, or anyone, shut that shit down. It starts with a joke, or comment. Once they see that’s allowed, they’ll keep pushing it. This was more than 7 monsters. More than 50 assholes who saw a snap and did nothing. More than administrators who wanted to keep this quiet. It’s a lifetime of seeing this shit exemplified, and rewarded. I’d love to say we’re capable of changing, but when the top levels of our government won’t even release the damn files, or prosecute those monsters, why would anyone feel that they can’t get away with this shit? They’ll go on to become cops, judges, CEOs, politicians and continue to ingrain these ideals.
