Hitchhiking Iran

Hi! I am planning to hitchhike home from Kyrgyzstan to Hungary. Is there anyone who recently hitchhiked in Iran? Is it possible to due to the war? The last thing I read it is open for tourists, but I want some up to date infos if possible.
