FR/EN - Young Professional permit IEC in Canada / Permis Jeune professionnel au Canada
I know someone talked about it this week but our situation are not the same.
French version :
Bonjour,
English version (made with Claude cuz i'm lazyyyy) :
I'm in Canada on a co-op internship permit that will expire next year. The company I work for doesn't hire anyone permanently for my position and would rather take on another intern.
So I was wondering if you have any tips or advice on searching for an employer as a job seeker on a Young Professionals IEC (International Experience Canada) permit. For context, French is my native language, and my English is at a B2 level. I'll be searching in the communication and marketing field.
My permit expires in October 2027, so would it be okay to start looking in April 2026, or is that too early/too late?
OR
Alternatively, I could also register in the pool for the Working Holiday visa and hope to receive an invitation to apply before my current permit ends.
Honestly, I'd feel more reassured by the prospect of already having a job lined up rather than wandering around the country that's welcoming me without an employer.
Merci d'avance pour votre aide ! / Thanks in advance for your help !
