Travel setup
I'm going to have to stay somewhere else overnight soon and I don't have anybody to come switch the heating element over for my ball python while I'm gone. Normally I would just leave the ceramic heat emitter on while I'm gone but it's getting cold out and my house really isn't very well insulated so I worry it won't produce enough heat (I'm getting a halogen bulb soon so that problem will be fixed)
I don't currently have the money for a heat mat (rent) and the lid on my spare tank is broken. I'll use it anyways as a last resort but I'd really rather not put more trust into it than I already have. What are yall's travel setups for situations like this? I have a thermometer with a probe, a heat lamp, and a ceramic heat emitter already.
