The Bible 9/29/2026
I am curious what other Christian's perspective on this is.
As a Christian, I will always believe in God and Jesus and Heaven and Hell, no doubt about it.
That being said, I think some of what is in The Bible is exaggerated.
I do believe what happened did happen to a degree, I don't think it happened the way it did as it is stated in the Bible.
The Bible says God created the Earth in 6 Days and rested on the 7th.
I don't think it's referring to 7 24 Hour Days. God is Eternal. & Days to God could be like 7 Million years for us.
Adam and Eve I feel is exaggerated, however, there is Scientific proof every human on Earth has a common ancestor, nicknamed "Mitochondrial Eve" so maybe some kind of event dealing with very early humans.
Noah's Flood. I mean, the Earth has changed over its lifetime. I mean the Earth used to be just Magma lakes but overtime got enough water to give us the Oceans and Lakes we have now. Plus other changes like Continents shifting and moving. Maybe some sort of flood happened, but kind of hard, however cool it is, to picture a global flood.
I'm not saying I'm an atheist or I don't believe. I'm just trying to use some logic and science to help the Bible make more sense a bit.
Wanted to see what other people think.
