Hi everyone, my name is Cristian. For the past few months, I’ve been working on a project called Tecto Scout.

The idea came about because I wanted a simpler way to explore terrain, remote sensing data, and geological context without having to set up a bunch of different programs beforehand.

Currently, you can select an area, process terrain data, generate Digital Elevation Model (DEM) derivatives, analyze drainage and topography, and explore the results in 3D. It is still under development, and some processes can be quite slow, but the basic system is already up and running.

It is completely free: [tectoscout.com](http://tectoscout.com)

I also left a pre-processed package so you can try out Tecto Scout without waiting for the processing time.

I’m sharing this here because I’d really appreciate feedback from people who study or work in geology or related fields. If you give it a try, I’d be especially interested to know what you find confusing, what features you feel are missing, or how you would use it.
