Confused about report time for multiple task?

Okay might be dumb but I've been working for around a month and is the first time I have this. Anyways, I was working in a project with two task of couple days each. I finished the first one and reported my time, then the other one opened up right away. I just finished the second one but when I went to reported time time, it was saying that I already reported it ? am I supposed to add them together or just report the second one ? The remaining time does says 23h which suggests is the second task but idk if I report only the second, the first reported time will be overwritten basically losing x hours spent. Pls lmk if I should email DA
