I’m a senior software engineer with 18+ years of experience building enterprise applications, and I’m currently looking for new freelance/contract projects, preferably with companies or teams in the US or Europe.

One area I particularly enjoy is taking an existing application that has become difficult to maintain and helping the team modernize it without having to rewrite everything from scratch.

For example, I’ve worked on enterprise mobile applications involving offline synchronization, APIs, local databases, background processing, barcode scanning, maps, push notifications and native Android integrations.

I'm not looking for a quick gig or a race to the lowest hourly rate. I’m more interested in projects where an experienced engineer can actually contribute to architecture, implementation and solving difficult technical problems.
