Noise canceling earbud/headphone recs?

TLDR need affordable noise canceling recommendations

My boyfriend has recently gotten into maimai and is always asking for us to go to the arcade together. I like maimai too!! But oh my god the noise in the arcade makes me feel like i’m taking tick damage. Since the wait time to get a turn is often 15 minutes or more at our closest arcade, I can usually only do 1 turn before becoming overstimulated. Maybe 2 on a good day.

I want to be able to play more, because I love having a shared hobby with my boyfriend. Anyone got any recommendations for noise canceling devices that are powerful enough to deal with arcade noise? Preferably affordable ones.
