This is truly depressing as someone who lived through the days of classic comedians, such as Richard Pryor, George Carlin, Sam Kinison, Rodney Dangerfield, Eddie Murphy (yes, he was a comic long before he decided his entire career was being a cartoon donkey with a fetish for dragons.)

In the '70s, '80s, '90s and even into the early 2000s, some shows actually tackled issues that you would never see today. What comes to mind is a 1986 episode of Night Court where Mack (a black Vietnam Veteran) was set to marry a woman he met through serving named Quon Le, only to get an objection from his grandfather who also was black. This was poignant, sharp and the way Quon Le handled it was brilliant. threatening to jump off a 19th story building and claiming it to be tradition when we all knew during the time of the Vietnam War, there weren't exactly tall buildings to jump off of was genius.

What would happen in those days? We would go to work or school the next day still laughing and realize the faults in ourselves. That's how people were less racist by say 2005 than they were in 1970. It was working.

These things worked because they pointed out the absurdity of things like racism which could come from anybody, chauvinism which also could come from anybody and still being allowed to make fun of literally anyone. It's comedy, not therapy hour. Movies like Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein couldn't be made today. Even shows like The Office had material that made some people who need to learn to laugh cringe. Community on Netflix cut out a scene where Chang dressed as a drow elf, and we all know why.

Cheers had a brilliant episode about Frasier finding a 19 year old girl and getting countless jokes, and when he finally decides to stand up and tell her it's not working, she's even more attracted to him because she likes when he takes charge. That subverted one of the oh-too-familiar tropes that I will be discussing later.

After the 2000s though as leftist/"progressive" influences took off, the idea of "acceptable comedy" became stale and old hat. I mean what's the point of tuning in to someone like Howard Stern when he's just a talking head for the left with a few profanities? The guy who in his 40s was so counter-culture that he openly expressed his desire for the Olsen Twins at 13 became a talking head for the left. The same thing with Jon Stewart openly ADMITTING he was a shill for Obama (of course, Jon Stewart talks smart but is very dumb). Jay Leno was even told to lay off his jokes on Obama.

There were signs on the wall this was the case. The Simpsons has always been "AMERICANS = ST00PID" with a disturbing amount of male nudity thrown in just to spike the ball, but even it got fire by an unfunny "comic" who wrote for W. Kamau Bell and claimed Apu was a negative racial stereotype. I don't need to tell you the stereotypes against Indian people now are genuinely 100 times worse. How did that work out for you, Mr. Unfunny McButtFace?

One of the few comics who actually was from the older era and stood up and still believed that everyone got a turn was Dave Chappelle and we see what happened to him. Someone got so butthurt that he attacked Dave on stage, over a fucking joke. Seriously, this is the level of pure idiocy we're dealing with.

[Because God didn't make the left to be smart, good looking or charismatic, just a waste of a human life. Why do you think they celebrated George Floyd? imagine burning down a city over a guy who would knife you in the stomach for the $40 in your wallet.](https://preview.redd.it/0ufrfckhuksh1.png?width=500&format=png&auto=webp&s=79312b1c73982db06989f610e1a58f3dc9285a77)

Even shows with a based character, most recently *The Boys*, had an ending that was truly lackluster and stupid, but it was because of the leftist writer that the character went from someone who was truly awful but well-written to someone who was pathetic because the writer had a terminal case of TDS, and people openly pointed it out.

In fact, the left lack self-awareness. They can't laugh at themselves because they are the joke. Mike Judge was one of the most brilliant satirists of the 21st century, and King of the Hill got renewed multiple times because these smooth-brains saw Hank Hill and said "look at that Republican from Texas! He's stupid!" but when Judge made The Goode Family, the left didn't laugh nearly as hard. Indeed, that show was actually hilarious, but the left can't poke fun at themselves. That's why they clutch their pearls and cry every time someone like Bill Maher criticizes them.

The left and mainstream comedy has been sanitized to the point where really only four buckets are acceptable and if you use critical thinking skills, you can see why.

1. "Peepee Poopie Fart Penis" -- this is because the leftist brain stopped developing in third grade. Anyone who is Gen X or older can tell you about the time that Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in one game in 1966 and how basically that was as good as life was going to get for him. The leftist who peaked in third grade when his/her brain stopped developing also had a similar peak when during recess, they said "peepee poopie fart penis" and a dozen fellow third graders laughed along. That was the highlight of their lives, and everything went downhill from there.

In B4: "But comics used to joke about that all the time, why British comedy was all about peen". At that time it wasn't so ubiquitous that it became unpalatable. Eating chili with a few hot peppers may enhance the flavor but put 4,000 of them in and the chili is no longer any flavor at all. I would be more okay with this if most two-bit comics didn't rely on this one so damn often.

2. romantic failure/"Get it? He's a loser". The leftist machine hates straight people, especially if they're white, and predominantly unless they're black and singing about B's and H's 200 times in a song. Leftists follow orders like brain-dead sheep, listening to whatever the machine tells them and copying it word for word. Case in point? I can't say it on here without talking about it in its own forum but every time you hear someone say "you know who wasn't on the Epstein list?" that's not a flex because \~99.9% of people who would do such a terrible thing aren't on that list either.

You ever notice that 99 times out of 100 it's a guy that gets made fun of for romantic failure? It's true, because the left couldn't dare perceive a woman as a bad person even when she is, unless of course she leaves the plantation as I will discuss later. I actually was watching a movie where this guy was getting stuff happen to him left and right (most of which would land someone in jail) but I'm supposed to have a memory shorter than Dory from Finding Nemo and say "GET IT? He's a loser!!"

3. "White people, am I right?". See #2. The leftist machine hates white people. You need not look further than the obnoxious and truly despicable song "Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)". Yes, we get it. White people can't be cool. You know what they didn't release? "Latino in college" or "black guy who raised a family". All of these are not true for all of these people, but they are stereotypes that refuse to die. You can literally make fun of white people and say things that would get leftist whiners calling you WAYSIS if you applied it to other races.

[How to beat a leftist every time at Uno. ](https://preview.redd.it/t8s055u8uksh1.png?width=503&format=png&auto=webp&s=3ad2a8b9c29e714b53473b550a33cdbee19254ac)

A good example of this happened when I saw a roast about 10 years ago, where it seemed like these people were on a roll with the idea of a roast, but the roast against Shaq was about how big his junk is. Oh man! Totally burned him there! I mean if someone joked that my junk was big, I would go home and cry for 3 days. Totally fucking roasted!

You had so much to work with, like how he couldn't sink a free throw half the time or how we was more known for Icy Hot commercials than his b-ball career, but nope, don't want to risk the horrible disease of someone being called WAYSIS. Why that's the current version of The Scarlet Letter, I don't know (ask your parents, I doubt school taught you anything about reading that).

It's funny how people use Bill Burr as a current comic example when he's literally the epitome of number 3 after his marriage. All his jokes are "Black people good/white people bad. See honey, I can self-flagellate. Please don't make me sleep on the couch again!"

Super Don't Cut Yourself On That Edge 4. "Orange Man Bad/ Space Man Bad / Wizard Woman Bad/ LOL podcaster ded". Now we're getting into the true venom -- what happens when a leftist leaves the plantation or someone dismantles their arguments using logic? The Democrats haven't changed in 200 years. Physical slavery in the 19th century, ideological in the 21st. The leftist machine hates these people because they were at one point card-carrying, flag waving members of the left, in fact, all of the major power players in the 2024 election that got Trump elected were 1990s Democrats. The Republican Party of the 2020s is strikingly similar to the Democratic Party of Bill Clinton and the current Democratic Party is so far to the left and detached from the real world that reasoning with them seems almost impossible.

The death of Charlie Kirk was proof positive of the left being shit. Making countless "LOL podcaster ded" "jokes" that were about as funny as Stage 4 cancer, meanwhile the one year anniversary of Ian Watkins' death coming up on October 11 will not have nearly as many jokes. It's literally worse for the left to dismantle their logic as it is to do bad things to infants. Hell, they want to get a triple-murderer named Lindsay Clancy off with just psychiatric advice. The fact she's not serving 300 years to life in a prison cell beating beaten senseless 5 times a day by all the other inmates is all the evidence you need to know the left are shit.

[of course the left are shit, just look inside their heads. ](https://preview.redd.it/elrii1gptksh1.png?width=526&format=png&auto=webp&s=b74ba249f033940af1af121b36427aa79cdf892d)

To be clear, I would enjoy a GOOD anti-Trump joke, or a GOOD Elon Musk joke, and I would rather hear 3 good ones than 200 lazy ones, but two-bit "comics" like Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon can't do good ones, because their writers are lazy and would rather write "LOLz I called Trump a Nazi!" than actually write a solid, well-thought out joke.

(I don't think you can really have a good joke about J.K. Rowling given her history and how she went from being on public welfare making only about £69 a week to being a billionaire who donated £150 million to charities, but because she spoke up and strayed from the left, she's in the crosshairs of the terminally stupid.).

and yes, I'll say it right now, leftists don't even take time to realize how blindly stupid and loyal they are. If the left told them that men's sperm would cure cancer, they'd do every YouTube video, every trip to Starbucks or every trip to college to find out what to get offended by today for the next two years with a massive jizz mustache telling anyone who doesn't have it that they're not doing enough to cure cancer.

Point out their hypocrisy and they'll resort to something like "No u", or some B.S. about fantasies as a DARVO technique. If these people had a buck for every original thing they'll ever say in their lifetimes, they still would have to panhandle to afford an Arizona Iced Tea.

[This is how the leftists get their news](https://preview.redd.it/jvdhx4tatksh1.png?width=520&format=png&auto=webp&s=1b5b56490362fc0079015bbd5163dc9548b363e7)

TL;DR: we need to be able to laugh at anyone again. You're not special because you're (insert race, sex, gender, sexuality, etc.) here, and if you're laughing when the comic jokes about white people, don't be shocked when he suddenly comes after you. Telling the modern left to fuck off, or sit down and shut up and take a joke is about 15 years past due.

[Hey, remember when the left thought that a book featuring a 12 year old boy giving another boy oral sex and another one about a 14-year old having sex with his camp counselor was a first amendment issue for 6th graders to read from a public library? Pepperidge Farm remembers. $also these books were never banned, you can BUY them all on Amazon$ ](https://preview.redd.it/sgo6znezuksh1.png?width=800&format=png&auto=webp&s=6affab5de98b32c1cf1df7ed32abd1cc72857feb)

Comedy is dying or dead, the left have killed it
