Regent vs Uncruise for Alaska
We are booking a whole family cruise next July to Alaska and I am having trouble deciding between these two! We will have kids ages 11, 13 and 15 and then my 70 year old parents. My dad wants authentic adventure, but I want to make sure the excursions will also be varied and engaging enough for the kids.
Are the included Regent excursions worthwhile? Or do you need to do the upgraded ones to get the full experience?
Does Uncruise offer enough for activities and comfort for a wide array of ages?
I want the food and accommodations to be decent, I know Regent is going to be much nicer but I am worried the excursions won’t be quite enough.
I know there are two very different experiences - we’re only doing this trip once so I would love some feedback from people with kids and older family members who have done either/both!
