Early season trip conditions?

My friends and I are 98 percent of the way booked for a trip to Holiday Valley this December. Our only available dates as a group were dec 13th-20th. How is the early season at HV? We chose the resort bc it’s open later than snowshoe and is further north. Also i saw the lift lines were better at HV compared to snowshoe.

We’ve only gone to Beech Mountain in NC so anything over that will be an upgrade. How has it been for you all in mid December these past few years?
