Maybe Sirianni and Hurts just suck on Monday Night Football

For all of the focus on Hurts’ best attribute being that he just wins, or how Sirianni has one of the best winning percentages of all time… it’s rare to see a cross-section of games where we perform so poorly.

But that’s the case with Monday Night Football. We are 2-4 in our last six games on MNF. Those four losses include: the Drew Lock game in Seattle during the ‘23 collapse; the loss to the Falcons where Saquon dropped a sure 1st down late on a screen pass, but we survived; and the loss to the Chargers where Jalen had 5 turnovers and a comical interception/fumble.

Now we’ve just lost another bad Monday Nighter. We’ve got one more against Dem Boys in October, and it’ll probably be their Super Bowl and Rayne Dakota may even carve us up.

But we’ll be fine on Sundays, at least that’s what I’m telling myself.
