Bf getting married to his cousin

Sorry if it is too long, me and bf have been dating on and off for 5 years now, we are both from different religions. He always talked about us getting married, having kids etc. His parents knew about our relationship but mine did not. Recently, I suffered a major health problem and was in the hospital for a long time and then I found out he went back home. Upon further investigation, I saw a picture of his wedding invitation and then later saw pictures of his wedding to his cousin who his parents have been forcing him to marry since a very long time. He is 21 years old and I am 19. In the pics he looked very depressed but idk what to do, he is still texting my sister checking up on me and how he is gonna come and see me while literally agreeing to getting married idk if he was forced like his parents threatened him to kick him out or they refused to let him come back or something. I dont know how to confront him or what to say when he comes back.
