Quitting drinking

so ive been lurking around here for a bit. I knew i had to stop but my brain told me maybe i can moderate in the future. I went some time sober and i felt great amazing told myself yeah i dont want to drink again. Yesterday i was minding my business had my day planned and no intent to drink. When one of my co worker handed me two beers. He rarely hands me beers and i have yet to refuse him in the past so i just gave in not wanting to deal with saying no or an excuse. I drank those two beers and i didnt enjoy the buzz i got. I told myself this is the reason why i want to moderate? This is the reason why im going back and forth on soberity?

I realized how alcohol affects my brain and i just accepted it. I had anxiety throughout the day that was gone before i had these two beers. Its time to just quit this. Even if i could moderate i dont want to deal with the effort of restraining myself. I rather just quit for good. Im pretty young i just entered my mid 20s hopefully its not a struggle as i do want to be around social places. Hopefully i can make great experiences even if people are drinking around. Its just best for me to quit it now
