How wig and makeup change you?

I have one experience/ session with my previous dom. She put makeup and a wig on me but somehow I didn’t feel much about it. And I had some solo sessions with just lingerie and stockings recently and I kinda felt more comfortable and enjoyed it more.

It could be I was not fully in the mental stage yet during that session. I’m not sure

Also heels? Is it a good item to get? Bc I’m into lingerie and stockings more intimate items rather actually dresses and clothes
