AI and Excel Calculations

So I'm taking a masters program and one of the tests requires us to use Excel to do functions for word problems. However, when I ask ChatGPT, Copilot, etc to doublecheck my work, the number are always slighly off from what the Excel document is showing.

Is this common or should I be fixing something in my Excel sheets?
